Harry Potter
There’s magic, magical creatures, evil magic, potions, and trickery but a lot of important people die so it’s not all unicorns and rainbows. I am obsessed with Harry Potter, I want to meet Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson, Rupert Grint, and Tom Falton. My mom didn’t let me read Harry Potter number three until I was 9 years old, but it wasn’t scary at all.

Percy Jackson
It’s a very funny, risk taking, story but also has Greek and Roman mythology, gods/minor gods, ancient creatures, and demigods. But also the evil Gaia who wants to destroy the gods, Olympus, and everybody who’s not on her side or immortal and rule! Now I know all of the Greek gods, goddesses and minor gods and goddesses, and Greek myths are very interesting. My favorite myth is about Hercules and 12 labors, especially when he washes out the poop of flesh-eating horses.

A Series Of Unfortunate Events
Because three orphans have amazing adventures from running to hospital to submarine to mansion while the evil Count Olaf tries to steal their fortune and kill two of them.

Roald Dahl
Because he writes funny, weird, and interesting stories. My favorite are Matilda (a girl who is very smart since she was born, and her mom and dad are forcing her to watch TV when she wants to read books), Fantastic Mr Fox (about a family of foxes who struggle to steal food from three not very smart farmers), the BFG (it’s about a small giant and he is a vegetarian, and all his brothers eat little boys and girls, and once a little girl saw the BFG sending dreams to the heads of people, and BFG stole her to his house, and they lived together), the Witches (it’s about witches who don’t like the smell of children and try to kill all the children in the world, and they have very funny features, for example, they are bald, they have claws, they don’t have any toes and have square feet, and their saliva is ink), and the Twits (it’s about a wife and a husband and they always make horrible tricks to each other). There are also Chocolate Factory and James and the Giant Peach, but they are not my favorite.

Wonder
It’s about a boy who has a deformed face but he is a very nice person and he finally makes friends with a girl named Summer.
